The 2013 Fall Banquet for the Neil “Gobbler” Cost Chapter will be held on December 5 at Piedmont Technical College in the Multi-Purpose building.   Tickets are still available for the event.   Corporate Tables are also available which gives you a front table for 8 with one year membership to NWTF for each, one free gun (Savage Axis 270), $100 riffle ticket pack, recognition in banquet program, and a seafood dinner for $800.   Contact Mike Waters for tickets at 864-993-2291.

Bob Harwell Custom Call – This fine single check call is made from butternut from Shawano, Wisconsin and walnut from southeast Missouri.   Made and donated by Mr. Bob Harwell. “Spring Meadow - Goldfinches” by James Hautman – So much of the conservation work of the NWTF benefits nongame species like songbirds. This goldfinch pair plays a role in the entire spring experience, whether you’re a hunter or wildlife watcher. Limited Edition of 2,200. Parent/Child Dove Hunt – This is for a Parent/Child Dove hunt on the land of Charlie Long and Terry Lecroy to be used in September 2014. Hand Thrown Jug – Jug was thrown by Master Potter Justin Guy of Old Edgefield Pottery and Hand Carved by Irving Whitt. This jug will be Number 1 and a must for any collector. Larry Page Custom Knife – Larry is one of the most respected knife makers in SC. A must to have for the Knife Collector. Donated by Mr. Larry Page. Parent/Child Doe Hunt – This is a parent/child doe hunt on trophy managed land in Greenwood County.   Hunt Friday afternoon & Saturday morning with Saturday evening available if needed. Limit of three does. Guide will be world class call maker Steve Mann. Can be taken in 2013 or 2014 deer season. Donated by landowner Mr. Andy Arnold. NWTF Jalopy Pedal Truck – All the kids on the block will want one. They may not appreciate the nostalgia, but they will surely make memories of their own. Recommended for ages 3 to 6. Made and donated by Mr. Gary Caughman. Early Turkey Print – This early turkey print was done by nationally known Charleston wildlife artist Anne W Richardson. Deer or Turkey Mount by Wilson Taxidermy – Check out Mr. Wilson’s table. If you want that trophy buck of a lifetime or gobbler mounted, once you see his work, you will want Wilson’s mounting it for you.
